Appledore
For centuries, Appledore was an important shipbuilding centre for the region and the village's large indoor ship yard continues to be a source of employment for many of the residents. Because of its long maritime heritage, the village is now home to the North Devon Maritime Museum.
Clovelly

Tarr Steps
Tarr Steps is a 17 span clapper bridge and is constructed entirely from large stone slabs and boulders, the longest of its kind in Britain. First mentioned in Tudor times but may be much older.
Instow Beach

Dartmoor
Brent Torr
A tor on the western edge of Dartmoor, approximately four miles (6.5 km) north of Tavistock, rises 330m above sea level. The Tor is surmounted by the Church of St Michael, the parish church of the village of Brentor, which lies below the Tor.
Drewsteigton & Fingle Bridge
17th-century stone arch bridge over the River Teign, set in the unspoilt ancient woodlands of Fingle Woods in Devon.
A great place for picnics, walks and an excellent Riverside pub too.
Meldon Dam
